SPBA Basketball Programs

SPBA basketball programs are designed to introduce young athletes to the game in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to take their skills to the next level, we have a program tailored for them. From our Baby Sharks sessions for little beginners (ages 3-5) to Aussie Hoops Rookie & All Stars programs for developing players (ages 5-11), we focus on fundamental skills, teamwork, and confidence-building at all of our SPBA basketball programs.

For older and more experienced players, the Rising Sharks Program offering a high-intensity, skill-focused training experience for U12 – U18 athletes aiming to refine their game and learn the Sharks’ style of play. No matter the level, our programs provide expert coaching, engaging drills, and a great way to enjoy basketball while making new friends.

Baby Sharks program

Baby Sharks

Ages 3 to 5 • Beginner level

A program to first introduce basketball to kids. Coaches will be focused on giving simple instructions and games for the young ballers to help develop their inner Michael Jordan.
The program will run for 6 sessions.

Aussie Hoops

Ages 5 to 11 • Beginner to Intermediate

Rookie Season (Beginner Level) Info (5-7yo)

This season is for those that are just starting out their basketball journey and want to learn the basic fundamentals of basketball.
The program will run for 8 sessions.

This season is for athletes that have experience playing on a domestic team or have done Aussie Hoops two or more times. Coaches will be teaching the athletes more skills and the tactics of basketball.
The program will run for 8 sessions.

Yes. First time participants require an Aussie Hoops Starter Pack. It includes essentials to get your child ready to play.
