Once all teams are entered, we will request further grading information where necessary ensuring you are playing against a similar level of teams.

As every Association’s level of competition is different, some teams may find their grade changes to ensure they are playing teams of a similar level.

Every team plays a minimum of four games across the tournament, plus a grand final if your team makes it.

Games are played across the Mornington Peninsula from Rosebud through to Mornington and Somerville. Fixtures are completed to minimise travel across the weekend and to stay in the same area for your games.

Unfortunately each team will not know where they are playing until the fixture is released a week prior to the tournament.

Players age is as of 31st December 2025 based on the below:

Under 8 – Born 2018 & younger
Under 10 – Born 2016 & younger
Under 12 – Born 2014 & younger
Under 14 – Born 2012 & younger
Under 16 – Born 2010 & younger
Under 18 – Born 2008 & younger
Under 21 – Born 2005 & younger

Open Men/Women – aimed at adults and minimum age is 14.

No, the team entry fee is all inclusive of all player and spectator entry!

Yes – a lot of domestic teams have representative players. They are allowed to compete in this event.

There is no limit on the number of representative players. It is not uncommon for Associations to have no limit on representative players, particularly in their A-grade competition.

Our tournament grades based on ability and teams matched accordingly. A team with a number of representative players will generally be graded higher.

However, a VJBL team cannot enter. Development squad teams may be entered, provided they do not play VJBL.

A team consisting of mainly representative players from different teams may enter however, they will be graded accordingly. If the level of their age group is not competitive they may be asked to consider playing up an age group.

Fixtures are expected to be released at least five days prior to the tournament. Any changes to this schedule will be communicated via email.

Teams that withdraw before team entries close can receive a full refund. Teams withdrawing after entries close will only receive a 50% refund. After fixtures have been released, refunds may not be available.
