SCHOOL HOLIDAY CAMPS
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Southern Peninsula Basketball Association (SPBA) holiday programs are run during every school holidays. There are two types of camps offered, one being directed at representative level players and another directed at domestic level and those that have never played.
These camps are conducted by Southern Peninsula coaches and senior players offering a range of levels to cater for a range of skill levels.
Holiday Camp
The focus of this camp is the kids learning some new skills, having the time of their lives, making some new friends and continuing to fall in love with our great game.
WHEN: TBC
TIME: 9:30am – 3:00pm*
*Early drop-off (8:30am) and late pick-up (3:30pm) available
**Children will be supervised during these times but no structured, camp activities will be running

SUITABLE FOR: All kids with an interest in sport aged 5+

Elite Camp
The Southern Peninsula Basketball ‘Elite Camp’ is a program we run to provide representative level athletes the opportunity to grow their game, particularly in the lead up to VJBL trials.
The camp will be ran and coached by SPBA Director of Coaching and High Performance – Matt Brasser. The camp focus will be advanced skill development and the Sharks Style of Play.
The camp will be testing for the athletes, challenging them both physically and mentally, assisting them in developing both their skill set and IQ level.

SUITABLE FOR: All Representative level athletes or those wanting to play representative basketball
