Once all teams are entered, we will request further grading information where necessary ensuring you are playing against a similar level of teams.
As every Association’s level of competition is different, some teams may find their grade changes to ensure they are playing teams of a similar level.
Every team plays a minimum of four games across the tournament, plus a grand final if your team makes it.
To ensure fair and balanced competition, the tournament offers multiple division types based on representative player eligibility:
- Open Section – No limit on the number of representative players per team.
- Restricted Section – A maximum of three (3) representative players are permitted per team.
- Domestic Only Section – Teams must not include any representative players.
For the purpose of this tournament, a representative player is defined as any player currently participating in a recognised representative competition (e.g. VJBL or equivalent).
Teams will be graded into the appropriate division at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to regrade or reallocate teams to ensure competitive balance.
Teams providing grading information that does not accurately reflect their playing strength may be moved or removed from the competition.
